The Artisan Edit: Leo Camerini

We love to celebrate the designers and makers of bespoke, luxury styles and Leo Camerini is no exception.

Creating beautiful accessories in crocodile leathers and precious materials, Leo Camerini's collection is completely tailored to each and every clients wishlist. The designer dedicates all his efforts to reach the highest level of quality and to define particular and distinguishing colours. Each handbag requires days of crafting, given the attention and patience needed to work with crocodile leather. Only a few highly experienced craftsmen can master such works of art.

Leo Camerini offers several concepts of customisation. From continuously updated colour palettes, for both the crocodile hides and linings, to a fine selection of precious stones. In addition, a dedicated line of Special Orders is opened only to a restricted list of clients. At that point, creativity and imagination have no boundaries.

About Leo Camerini...

Being of both Italian and French nationality, he grew up in two countries overflowing with beauty. Two cultures able to generate uncommon talents thanks to an innate taste for elegance and style.

As a child he would wander through the corridors and rooms of museums, castles and palaces, spending hours observing the materials, craftsmanship, colors and lights of Paris, Milan and Verona, cities that have stimulated his curiosity about architecture, design, décor and obviously, fashion.

Just freshly graduated, he decided to create his own leather-goods brand. Starting off with small accessories, such as wallets, belts and evening clutches, customers were free to order specific colors or customize their purchase with hand-painted decorations.

After this experience, he decided he was ready to take the plunge and design handbags. This had always been his aspiration right from the start, but he needed to find the right elegant shapes, inventing more comfortable interiors and, most importantly, achieving the best possible quality to ensure that his handbags would last a lifetime.

"So here I am today, fully immersed in this fantastic adventure. Pushed by the desire to create accessories that make women happy and allow them to dream." Leo Camerini.
